The Kent MBA is accessed by a number of different methods. All core modules have both a coursework and a formal examination element to the assessment, while the electives are assessed by coursework only. The examinations are held bi-annually in January and May.

The internship programme is undertaken between 1 June to 31 August with the project submission for the Business Report and the Career and Skills Report required mid-September for full-time students. It is a requirement that students work on a 'live' project for their project report.
