FAQ 357
I am interested in the Kent MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme, can you tell me more?

The Kent MBA programme is aimed at applicants with an established background in the workplace, managing either projects or people. The programme gives you the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of business and management practices, improve your personal skills in the core areas of management and enhance the scope and potential of your career along with your earnings ability.

Students on the programme come from a wide range of backgrounds and locations including the UK, other European countries, the Far East, Middle East, Asia, North and South America and Africa. In this way we are able to provide a global perspective on business affairs.

The Kent MBA is designed around a core of general management themes with opportunities for you to explore areas of interest through a range of optional modules.

Both full-time and part-time students follow the same structure and content. You would take 8 compulsory taught modules, then choose 2 options designed to enhance specific knowledge or interests.  You are also required to complete two projects in your own time: the Management Skills and Career Development Report, and the MBA Business Report.

Finally, the MBA aims to ensure that once you have successfully completed the programme you will have developed the necessary skills to make a significant contribution to the management of any organisation.
